It took us some time and efforts to organize the event and it just feels great to see that our efforts were appreciated by the whole community. It definitely felt nice that so many people joined and participated in the event in one way or the other and first time, it felt like that the WordPress community in India is also strong. We topped the list of Top Trends with #wci tag and that was definitely an achievement on its own and it was once competing strongly with #oscars.
We’ll be uploading the videos pretty soon and will share the presentations as well, although I’m pretty sure that the presentations will be made available by the owners at SlideShare (still we’ll upload them to ensure that no presentation gets missed). Meanwhile you may see various pics of WordCampers of India at Flickr & Picasa.
In the end, I can only thank everyone for helping us out in making this event successful. Thanks to our sponsors – Adobe and Automattic, Online Media Partners – Watblog, indiblogger, pluggdin, Nasscom, blogadda & IT Vidya, Media Partners – it Magazine, Design Partners – aside and our co-organizers – Delhi Bloggers Bloc and Mojo 360.
I’ll be listing out some tips (it’ll be more like sharing the experience) that may help you in organizing WordCamp in your city and hey don’t forget to invite your friend.

I have a video of closing address by matt at this link : http://picasaweb.google.co.in/rohitkhuranadce/Wor...
Thats great, cant wait for the videos. I hope there are more such meets in India now.
Well, what an event you organized man–it was so lovely. Literally, we did not expect that you will be making it so hassle-free (for participants) and so cool by keeping it going like a rail on lanes. Can we get the complete coverage of the event in DVDs–I can pay for that.
Apart from that, get all the shots that I took at my site http://www.2indya.com. Please also tell me about the shots that the other shooter did…I will like to see what he shot. Thanks again and have a nice time!
