Most of the bloggers; be it Business bloggers or the bloggers following a specific niche often complaint that either they don’t have much time to blog and even if they find sometime, it becomes hard for them to decide that what exactly they should blog about as they don’t get enough ideas on which they can build the posts.

Well, I’ve gone through this similar problem many a times and it’s part of the Writer’s Block, however there are pretty simple rules and you can surely come out of this little situation. Here are some of the things which I follow to ensure that I get enough ideas to write at least one blog post every day!

Blog Post Ideas - how to generate them ?

1) Get back to the basics - Blogging is all about conversations and if at all you are finding it difficult to find a blog post idea, do a simple blog search and find out the blogs which are talking about something in your niche. Now, you’ll find that there may be posts on which you’ll agree and some on which you won’t, simply pick any of the interesting post and start writing your point of view on it. Not only this will help in building the relationship with bloggers in your niche, it will also help in solving the problem that what should one blog about.

2) Create a list of trends - List posts are generally successful with social media and if you can write a list of the trends which are going on in the industry then you are going to attract lot of traffic and again you won’t whine about that same old point.

3) Take interviews - When you are finding it difficult to find a good blog topic idea, then it’s best that you should contact some of the veterans in your industry and ask for an interview with them. An e-mail interview is best, however if you can do a podcast then also it’s fine.

4) React on news - Use Google News or any other news site to find out that what new is going on in your industry and when you find a news which is worth some discussion, then simply give your insights on that and you’ll see that this will help in generating lot of new blog post ideas.
