What really is required in making a successful blog is the passion for the subject on which the blog is based. This helps in building relationship with them and can give you nice attention in the readers of the same community.

Instant messengers are just not for bloggers, feel free to talk to your office colleagues, friends, family and all the diggers who want to know that how you make money through blog and if you are ready to help them in digging through their submissions.

3. Stats are important for readers : Stats always excite us because the increasing bar graph is just too tempting to resist and of course we have to find out that how SEO for Wordpress is doing for your blog and what exactly readers are looking for on the internet. It’s also important for us to know that how many subscribers our blog had till this time.

Stats are important for bloggers! Even though Google bot is going to crawl the blog after 3 days but we have to see that what keywords are listed in Google Webmaster tools or may be Google bot may have gone generous enough and may have given a visit the very next day! It’s also important for us to find out that how many visitors come on our blog with the help of real time traffic tools like reinvigorate, woopra etc. And if we don’t find out that how much money we earned every hour, then how will we get the motivation to blog every day ?

Only thing I can suggest is it’s important to focus and careful planning (as a blogger) of the day the required to ensure that optimum time is spent for each activity and not much is wasted in not so important activities.
