I noticed that there are many bloggers out there, who make small mistakes every now and then. So thought that it’ll be a great idea to run a series that’ll point out the mistake that can be fixed. Not only this will ensure that, people will get aware of those small problems, they’ll be on their toes to fix it as well.

Task # 1 – Update your Twitter profiles

Recently, I was searching for Facebook Application Developers on Twellow through Twitter Search. I came in touch with a Facebook Developer and when I checked his Twitter profile, it didn’t have any information about that what exactly he’s into! Fortunately, I knew him personally and in talks with him, otherwise it would have been a missed opportunity for him! (it still is an opportunity, so if you know someone, feel free to refer people to me).

In another example, I had a small meeting with officials of Bell Bajao campaign and noticed that even they haven’t mentioned anything about the company they work with, what exactly they do. The funny part is that they wanted to drive traffic from Twitter on their website. Sure profiles aren’t the best ways to attract that, however people love to connect with the person and if they’ll know a little about you, they’ll be able to connect in a better way.

It really isn’t that hard to write a small line or two about you. So today’s task is that go ahead and update your Twitter profile right now! Just follow this link and fill all the possible fields and you’ll have a good profile to go! Who knows that who might be searching for Facebook application developers on Twitter!
