Currently, I’m writing this post while I’m sitting in the Food Court of Inorbit Mall in Mumbai and this is the first time ever, I’m getting a chance to blog using the wi-fi connection in India in public. I will be honest, I was literally amazed to get this kind of facility over here. While, I was doing my regular work, I noticed that my productivity level had gone up as compared to while I’m at my home/office setup and started to ponder that what exactly brought this change?
There are few things, I could think of as I’m blogging this. In case, I’ve missed something, do share it with me in the comments.
Productivity level increases while blogging in public areas!
1. Change of ambience – I’m one person who likes to see people roaming around and as I’m sitting in a mall, I get to see loads of people around me who are doing all sorts of activities (I will not go much in details about what the couple sitting at the next table are doing :P)
2. No one to disturb you – One of the negatives of working from home is that you get regularly disturbed by other family members for small homely needs and it effects you badly, when you are in full flow of writing mood. It happens with me that I generally lose focus if someone disturbs me while working and find it difficult to catch hold of same zeal of writing the blog post.
3. Coffee keeps you up – I know that one can get coffee at home as well. However, sipping coffee, while you work at a mall is a different feeling all together and so I’ll not forget to include this point as well.
All in all, I believe that it was mostly because of the change of ambience that made me blog and do stuff related to Blog Design Studio (there are other things which you don’t get to see, I do.) in much productive manner. If at all, you get a chance to blog from public areas or if you’ve done it before then do share it with us.
TIP FOR BEGINNERS – Don’t forget to plug your ear phones as you may get disturbed by children crying out loud for an ice-cream.

tried tested and to a extent ..had a similar experience.
