What should be the perfect day schedule & activities for blogging!

My blogging friend Abhishek asked bloggers on twitter to share their thoughts on what should be the perfect day schedule & activities for blogging and I thought that it was a wonderful question as most of the professional bloggers follow a routine as blogging can get difficult without a schedule.
According to me the best way to manage the day or get the maximum productivity along with managing the social life is to start as early as possible and then divide your work hours on various activities involved in the blogging. It’ll be even better if you can divide your blogging activities over the period a week, I’ll suggest week’s approach as compared to daily approach to those bloggers who don’t do blogging for a living.
Here’s how I’ve divided my work schedule, I won’t say that this will work for you but then everyone is best judge of their capabilities and I will suggest you to concentrate more on the amount of hrs. you can sit at a stretch -
1. Write, Write and Write : The very first thing which I do after I get ready for the work is that I just close down my messenger and I concentrate only on writing blog posts. Whatever comes through my mind, I just write and ensure that I can convert that in a good blog post. I generally write for 5 hrs. in a day, of course I take small breaks as well.
2. Social networking : Then I dedicate around 2 hrs. of time in social networking where I find and make new friends in Digg/Stumbleupon/Reddit etc. I also try to answer queries of my buddies in that time period, it’s like help people and you’ll be helped in future. Pretty selfish…huh?
3. Comments all the way! : I spend some time everyday to ensure that I reply to all the comments on blogs. Although, I know it’s a must to comment on other blogs too, but that’s one habit which I’ve still form. I’ve kept half an hr. for the comments and I try hard to ensure that I comment on blogs of my niche.
4. Analytics and stats are important : It’s really important to find out that how your readers are coming and what kind of readers do you have. This helps in ensuring that you are able to supply the content which your readers are looking for. Google analytics is a great tool for that and I totally love it.
5. Marketing ideas : It’s really important for me to find out that what exactly is going around WordPress community and that I keep myself up to date and then accordingly market ourselves. I do lot of brainstorming to ensure that I can take StudioWordpress to a level where I want to see it.
6. Reading Feeds : It’s important to know that what’s going around the world and what my fellow bloggers have to say about various news. Be it release of WordPress 2.6 or if they are concerned about the amount of queries of WordPress or if they are raising their concerns that why old media doesn’t link to bloggers.
These are few things which I have included in my daily task. I do lot of other stuff, like twittering (if you are a twitter user, feel free to follow me), spend some time in SEO of my blogs and of course working on free/client themes along with Oliver (our lead designer) and Rajat (my partner).
So how do you divide your blogging and social/work life ? Do you follow a particular pattern or you just blog at a random moment ? If you have any tips then feel free to share it with us.

Thanks Mayank, it will really help, i will consider all these points.
As of now,
I dont follow any blogging schedule. Main reason for that is, I’m a full-time student.
Usually, i develop post ideas during the weekends. Note it down in the good-old Notepad and expand them into good posts when I find my time (somehow).
I’ve even written a post while in my classroom at school
My schedule is actually kind of weird.
I read feeds in lectures, even write posts in lectures.
I write down any idea that can be converted into a post and believe me I have more ideas than the posts I currently I have on my blog.
Then I download stuff from our net lab, test softwares in my room and then write about it.
In nutshell, after college hrs, I am dedicated to blogging and sometimes in college hrs too.
@ Abhishek : I’m glad that I could be of some help to you
@ Aravind : You naughty boy! Focus on your studies instead of blogging.
Well, you should make a weekly plan. Try to sit down this weekend and write as many as posts you can – 10, 20 and then select the option of post publish and publish 1 post each day, that’ll help you stay on top of it and then you can always stay in schedule even by just blogging only on weekends.
@ Ashfame : What’s happened to all you guys! Study hard , don’t blog between classes
Good to see that you are so dedicated towards blogging, however, I’ll suggest you to have 1 blog for 1 topic, so if you have lot of ideas in different sections then create a new blog each for it..
hmmm…mayank…gud points to follow…but dnt knw y is this blog thing contagious…even though i dnt post often…but mind revolves round the blog…thinking wat to post….kya karen…bheja ye saale sunta nahin…ha ha….
