AppLoop is an upcoming tool that will allow you to convert your blog (technically RSS feeds) in an iPhone application and will allow users to download and install the application on their iPhones. The interesting points are that you just have to setup your blog with certain settings and they take care of everything, even submitting it to the Apple Store!
App Generator definitely looks impressive as it has got all the following features -
1. Lets you set the price of the application (in case you want to charge for the content).
2. Provides you the stats of the visitors, number of installs, usage trends, popular content, etc.
3. Read to go as you just need to point the feed, provide logo and that’s it!
Now the interesting thing to note will be that will Apple Store allow these kind of applications and if at all it gets popular then will they do it for each and every other blog ? Well, apart from all the cool tool feel about it, I’m wondering that who in the world will specifically install a blog’s feed application on their iPhone, I guess a person will rather use a normal feed reader itself, isn’t it ?
I was just wandering were can I get this application and is it free, or is it cheap, I think it’s a good idea, especially for those who like to read blogs a lot.
Unfortunately, I’m not sure if there is any application which is free and allows you to do that. However, I’ll try and find a solution for this.
