First of all, Wishing you a very happy holi to all of you! For your convenience here’s a small excerpt from Wikipedia that tells you more about the festival of Holi.

The main day, Holi, also known as Dhulheti, Dhulandi or Dhulendi, is celebrated by people throwing coloured powder and coloured water at each other. Bonfires are lit the day before, also known as Holika Dahan (death of Holika) or Chhoti Holi (little Holi). The bonfires are lit in memory of the miraculous escape that young Prahlad had when Demoness Holika, sister of Hiranyakashipu, carried him into the fire.

At WordCamp India 2009, I met with lots of people and many of them did something unique that was setting them apart from the crowd. In the last post about WordCamp India, you would have noticed the Tattoo guy – Ankur Banerjee (who conducted a very cool quiz too). I also met with team technospot i.e. Ashish Mohta and Manav Mishra, they were wearing Technospot.net branded t-shirts and same was the case of Ankit of Instablogs (who inspired me to order a hoodie with Blog Design Studio logo on it).

All these examples on the top were of branding, where Ankur managed to brand himself as “the tatoo guy” and was easily able to draw Matt’s attention and then the team “technospot” & “instablogs” were good enough to draw people’s attention towards their work.
