assistance I found on your web page has empowered me to get rid of spyware completely from my personal computer. Now the fan does not run regularly and I can basically browse the web. Cool! Thanks to you for the website. I work in a tiny computer store and had to remove the shoppers free anti-spyware because it had been preventing me from getting rid of some adware and spyware that got set up on their computer. I spent two hours wanting to locate it and Comodo was able to fix the situation for me. Just wanted to let people know of my experience.

I use Sublime Text 2 (technically not free, though it has an unlimited and unrestricted trial, so it is effectively so) with the WordPress API package, which provides WordPress suggestion. It works very well, and ST2 is astoundingly beautiful and useful. Before that, I used mostly NetBeans – another excellent piece of software – which is completely free.

I changed the apostrophe (‘) to quote marks (“) and it worked for me. Note that it is on the urls and the ‘home’ and ‘siteurl’

That’s a nice list Mayank. Now I’m using GASP to block automated spam comments. This plugin displays a client side generated check box for comment posters to mark before they submit. I guess it is better idea than using complex captcha and cookie method.

Yet another is ‘Spam Free WordPress’ that generates an anonymous passwords for comment posters to fill in a box. I’ve recently activated it on my blog and studying its effectiveness. Logically the plugin looks great working.

Thank you for the useful list of plugins to fight against spam comments.

I had the same problem, Sunil – I fixed it by using double quotes around the URLs instead of single quotes.
