Hi, I have NewBlue Options them installed and I am using it as content management system and not as a blog.
I am using a landing page instead of having chronological postings.
I am trying to remove the Page # of # at the bottom. I would even like to remove the gray bar that has "# of comments /Posted by/ Categories...
I am assuming it is something simple 'cause I sure as hell can't figure it out.
ps I am not a programmer by any means. But I am not afraid to take things apart.
Ok,
This is the case if you are to put in only plain text and links on the landing page:
what you need to do is first create the page from the admin and then go to
Settings/Reading
and under Front page displays choose the radio button for "A static page (select below)" and then select your specific page from the select-box menu.
Now, if you want a whole new custom look for the landing page you can create a new file in the theme files folder and name it home.php
You can put custom content there which will appear on the landing page only.
