Hi..just wanted to comment on the plugins. I've used quite a few of them and they worked fine up until recently when I upgraded my site to WP 2.8.1. I did this one night, went back the following morning and couldn't even get into the admin area. The site was completely down. I called my web host who discovered that all of my plugins were broken or corrupted and deactivated all of them at his end. He then had to reset my password to allow me access to the admin area. Wait it gets better...Ok so now I'm thinking I have to redo all the plugins. So I go in under install new, and start searching for the ones I want...only to discover I could not install any plugins. Now I'm getting a little uptight, and can't find the answers anywhere on those WP forums. Finally I called my web host back, and a very nice young lady was able to figure out that the directory for the plugins had been renamed so the files had no where to point to. Now I never renamed the directory so how did that happen? Not to mention the hours I spent looking through WP site for answers that I could never easily find? WP has got to have a better system in place to help people. I think it's ridiculous that they don't have TELEPHONE support. Does anyone out there feel my pain?
