I’ve always backed Arne’s Google Sitemap generator plugin and the reasons are pretty obvious, it’s one of the only XML sitemap generator that follows the guidelines of Sitemaps.org, an noble idea to build standard sitemaps and is supported by Google, Microsoft and Yahoo. However, it is highly criticized because of the high memory usage.
