So we can see the twitter effect on Google Reader

Google reader has been the best web-based RSS reader and one of my personal favorites too. Although, upon logging for the first time in the day, I realized that Twitter was able to rub its status update feature on it. In this update, Google lets you choose that which all people you would like to “follow” (doesn’t that sound like Twitter lingo) to get the updates from them.

TweetBoard – what’s the point of invites if it doesn’t work

Twitter has been growing fast and one of the key reasons is the applications that have been build for and around it. Recently, twitter users were seen requesting for an invite from TweetBoard, a new service that enables a small public forum where website visitors can come and have discussions. Interestingly, the service got great initial buzz and it looks to me that it’ll be able to make bloggers or webmasters to install this little wonder on their web pages.

Does Twitter deserve the kind of coverage it gets on tech blogs? That’s the question Amit Agarwal has posted on his wonderful blog and exactly same question was going through my mind a few days back and I thought of writing something about it too. After looking at that post, I can only say that Amit has given me the opportunity to answer the question slightly quickly.
