Although the benefit of this particular update is just to ensure that your blog doesn’t get hurt with a particular security vulnerability and that’s why it’s good to act fast and update the WordPress as soon as possible.

My friend Chetan has posted the backend pictures of WordPress 2.7 and I have to say that it definitely looks impressive from the posted pictures. The QuickPress feature will allow you to post quickly and has no frills, I guess they’ve learned this from the Habari Project (will Habari beat WordPress ?)- who claims to have the simplest editor as they want to ensure that bloggers focus on writing and not other stuff. We’ll soon review the whole WordPress 2.7, so keep an eye on your newsreader!

The wonderful team at Automattic has fixed a security vulnerability and released an updated version of WordPress and now it stands at the version 2.6.2 Although, it isn’t that important security threat for those who don’t allow user registrations, however if you blog has user registrations then the update is a must. Apart from that, I would still suggest everyone to upgrade the WordPress as it includes other small fixes too.

It doesn’t take long to upgrade the WordPress check that how you can upgarde WordPress in 2 mins .

I was thinking that there will surely be many questions where there can be one single answer for it – i.e. WordPress.
