About a month back, I’d made certain changes in our Blog Design. Well, the change was not in terms of appearance, it was more of a feature addition. I’d made the change in such a way that those posts that were around 20 days old and the posts that “unique visitors” would get to see the email subscription form at the top of the page and that was with the help of “who sees ads” plugin.
We’ve seen all A-list bloggers using Aweber for creating the mailing lists and that they are using the javascript pop-up boxes to display the signup information button for the first time visitor, so as to increase the signup rate. However, there are few who don’t like that at all. Anyway, I also want to increase the signup for my newsletter (not aweber one, I use the feedburner’s default service) and was thinking of a non-obtrusive way of displaying the signup box and here’s what I did!
It’s wonderful that you’ve got a blog and that you’ve got great content on it but you tend to lose the interest after a while you realize that you are spending too much time and energy in writing the blog posts and are not getting the proper returns.
The result of such a feeling :
1. You close down your blog.
2. You post much less than you used to at one time.
