It seems like Automattic team is planning to take away the traffic from all those WordPress showcase blogs/websites which display the best of the designs for WordPress. Of course, they did that for Themes and Plugins already by launching WordPress themes directory and WordPress plugin directory.
WordPress’ website has a new section called WordPress Showcase which is a directory of some of the most wonderful portals, designs which have been built using WordPress. So, if you think that your blog is one of the unique creation and is powered by WordPress then feel free to submit your blog’s/portal’s link to WordPress Showcase. Apart from this, it’s one of the very good ways of building traffic too!

2. LoopPress.
3. WP Garden.
4. WP Candy Sites.
Well, these are the ones which I know who specifically display the work of WordPress powered blogs/websites. However there are various other portals/galleries/websites which showcase the power of CSS and design and here’s a wonderful list of 74 such design/css galleries where you can submit your blog/website to showcase it.
Anyway, I’ve just submitted Blog Design Studio too and I just hope that they select this one else, I’ll be one heart broken guy.
