A picture is worth thousands of words and a video is worth ______ words (I leave it up to you to decide that how many words a video is worth). We all know that if we can see that how an action is done then it becomes far simpler to understand things and a person who isn’t sure about something gets more confidence while following the tutorials.
There are many tutorials available on the internet which tell you about various stuff and so is the case with WordPress too.
Here is the list of some of the most wonderful video tutorials for WordPress -
1. Optiniche : OptiNiche has some wonderful video tutorials which tell you that how you can achieve some of the things using WordPress through various videos. Although, one of my suggestion to the webmaster is to embed these videos in the content rather than just giving the option of downloading the video files.
2. YouTube is the first love for videos : All the video producers love YouTube for the simple fact that it’s the best video sharing site ever built. There are tons of video tutorials available on YouTube about WordPress from simplest topics to advanced topics and you can go through them and increase your knowledge about WordPress.
3. KillerSites : Well, I guess the name should have been Killer Videos. They’ve got a good list of video tutorials for WordPress from setting it up to configuring it. Although the WordPress 2.5+ video’s are still not available, although the webmaster says that they’ll be available soon.
4. Weblog Tools Videos : This video blog is what you wouldn’t want to miss at all. It has got loads of videos from basic stuff to advanced stuff like “how to make wordpress plugin“. It’s a must have in your RSS reader subscription.
There is a good news too! Automattic has hired Michael Pick – The talented Screencaster and I’m sure you’ll see some wonderful videos and screencast coming from the WordPress factory itself!
